7 Royals In The State 18's

The Club is pleased to announce the following players have been selected into the initial WA State 18's Academy intake of 30 players;

Christian Ameduri - Noranda
Jaxon Cahill - Noranda (Trinity)
Sam East - Manjimup Imperials
Damon Greaves - Busselton
Aaron Redhead - Moved from NSW
Matt Young - Augusta - Margaret River

Brandon Starcevich (Mt Lawley Inglewood/Trinity), whose dad Troy and uncle Craig both played for East Perth has also been picked as a 'train on' player.  

'It's exciting to have 7 players in the initial squad. This is a result of a fantastic development program headed by Colts Coach Adam Pickering. The fact that 3 of the 7 players are from our country zone highlights that the club has put in place a comprehensive development program which ensures that every player in our Metropolitan and Country zones can reach their full potential.' Football Manager Mark Winnett said.

'Credit must also go to all our junior clubs for nurturing the players in our zone who come into our programme well rounded footballers.'

The boys first training session is Monday the 1st of May, with their first trial game played on the 20th of May
