Royals Preview Round 4
The Royals will be looking to post their second win for the 2018 season against Perth at Lathlain Park. Emphatically bouncing back against West Perth after a dismal showing in Round 1 the Royals should be fresh after the bye. Perth will be confident after beating Peel last week.
Big bodied midfielder Brandon Ah Chee will be looking to impress in his first game for East Perth. Recruited by West Coast from Port Adelaide in the off season, Ah Chee was a consistently strong performer for Port Adelaide in the SANFL for a number of seasons and will be looking to push his claims for a birth in the Eagles side. Young tall Oscar Allen will also pull on the black and blue jumper for the first time. Allen played 2 League games for West Perth last season and was one of the few shining lights for the Falcons in a substantial loss to the Royals last season before being drafted by West Coast.
Ah Chee will join what is becoming a formidable midfield that includes captain Pat McGinnity, FD Book Medallist Julian Ameduri and Sharrod Wellingham. Ruckman Fraser McInnes has been the Royals most consistent performer in the first 2 rounds and the Royals will be looking for another strong showing from the big man tomorrow.
With wet weather forecast, Royals livewires Will Maginness, Stan Wright and Shayne Hille will be looking to capitalise on the tricky condition and use their skills and smarts in front of goal to have big impacts. Young gun Jarrod Brander will also be keen to continue on from his strong showing against West Perth.
