Joe McKay wins 2018 Bernie Hughes Award

The 2018 Bernie Hughes Award for 2018 was presented at the Annual Bernie Hughes Xmas Lunch which was held at the Leederville Sporting Club.

The 2018 recipient of the Award was Joe McKay from the East Perth Football Club Past Players and Officials Association.

The Award was presented to Joe by Lynette and Philip Hughes on behalf of the Hughes Family and Bernie Hughes (deceased).

The MC for the afternoon was John Komorowski, Secretary of the WAFL Combined Association.

John Rowe, Junior Vice President Welcomed guests to the Lunch and Award presentation and read out the Members who had passed away in 2018 followed by a minutes silence.

A two course sumptuous buffet lunch was served prior to the important Bernie Hughes Award presentation.
