Royals Juniors Selected In State Schoolboys Squad
Three Royals District junior footballers have been selected to represent WA in the 15s State Schoolboys carnival to be played in Sydney during July.
Eric Bashemule (Morley Bulldogs JFC), Brandon Starcevich (Mt Lawley-Inglewood JFC) and Mason Nicolaou (Noranda JFC) were named in the final 25 player state squad. Another 3 players from the East Perth country zone, Sam East (Manjimup SHS), Lachlan Trembath (Mackillop CC) and Kane La Fontaine (Margaret River SHS), were also selected.
Bashemule, a highly skilled midfielder with lightning pace, was also a member of the Bakari Royals multicultural squad in 2012 and currently attends John Forrest SHS. Starcevich is a tall, agile utility player from Trinity College and Nicolaou, also from Trinity, is an inside, polished midfielder.
