East Perth vs Swan Districts Round 2

The Royals will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing Round 1 at our home ground Medibank Stadium on Saturday. Four players have been added to an extended squad from last week. Our boys are excited about being on home turf for the first time this year.

Big Paul Johnson was in ominous form last week amasing 43 hitouts in a stand out performance in the loss to East Fremantle. Newly appointed Vice Captain Kyle Anderson was reliable as ever in the back line.

Swans had a strong win against Perth last week in their season opener.

The Reserves will be looking to build on their strong win last week at ATOM Stadium. The young squad was impressive against the traditionally strong East Fremantle outfit. Tom Omedei was in scintilating form collecting a game high 36 disposals. Young ruckman Scott Jones was exciting with 32 hitouts, 9 tackles and a goal. Our boys will be bolstered by the inclusion of ball magnet Mitch Howlett who will be keen to impress after a big off season.

Kobe Chrisp was best afield against East Fremantle last week in the Colts with 32 disposals as the Colts went down by 5 goals. Sam Powell-Pepper is a player to watch this year. The 16 year old had 20 touches including 3 goals in his first Colts game.
