Rd 3 Good Friday Clash vs Subiaco

Friday, April 3, 2015 - 10:48 AM

The Good Friday, Grand Final rematch is shaping up as a mouth-watering game of WAFL football. Subiaco will go into the clash the form side of the WAFL after convincing wins against Top 5 contenders Claremont and East Fremantle. The Mighty Royals bounced back after a poor showing in Round 1 to defeat a fast finishing Swan Districts line up.

The Royals will be strengthened by the return of Captain Brendan Lee. The prolific ball winner will add experience to the talented Royals midfield.

A lack of goals hurt the Royals in Round 1, but with 10 individual goal kickers against the Swans, East Perth showed that there are plenty of avenues to goals.

The Reserves will be keen to make it 3 from 3 before the bye. Whilst it is a young Reserves side it is packed with talent looking to force their way into the League team. The most impressive element of the Reserves first two matches is their dominance of possession.

Our Colts will be looking to chalk up their first win of the season. The boys have been competitive for large periods of their opening games but slow starts have cost them.
