East Perth Football Club has given the Western Australian Football Commission (WAFC) a Notice of Termination after mutually agreeing with the West Coast Eagles to conclude our current partnership agreement.

After careful consideration, the Board have decided that it is in East Perth’s best interest to leave our arrangement with The West Coast Eagles to ensure fairness with regards to WAFC Zoning and Funding Reviews that are imminent.

2018 Landmark Country Football Championships

Around the Grounds - Round 13

Four ripper WA Football League clashes are set to unfold this Saturday and there will be heaps of activities and competitions all members of the family can get involved in.

East Fremantle and Claremont take to Geraldton as part of the WA Football Commission’s ‘Festival of Football’ event being held in the region this week. Live score updates and statistics can be viewed via the WAFL app and on both the WAFL clubs Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Round 13 Match Previews

THE WAFL is back to a full round of fixtures this Saturday and there's plenty on the line with West Perth trying to topple Subiaco in the annual International Football Festival at Joondalup Arena undoubtedly the headline act.

There were just the three games in Round 12 of the WAFL last Saturday and that saw the season significantly tighten up in terms of the battle for the last two spots in the final five, with Claremont winning to close in further and Swan Districts and East Perth losing to be in danger of dropping out.

While Subiaco and West Perth won their games last Saturday to further consolidate their top three positions either side of the second placed South Fremantle, it's a tight competition beneath the Lions, Bulldogs and Falcons who appear to have their spots sewn up at this stage.

WA State 18s squad

A West Australian State 18s squad of 25 has travelled to Victoria for Rounds 4 and 5 of the NAB AFL National 18s Championships.

Games will be played against Victoria Country at 2.40pm WA time tomorrow, Friday June 29,  in Geelong and against the Allies at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, July 4 at 12.10pm WA time.

Both games will be televised live on Fox Footy.

Round 12 Match Reports

SUBIACO flexed its muscles while West Perth shook off the challenge of Perth and Claremont kept its finals hopes alive across the three WAFL matches in Round 12 of the 2018 season on Saturday.

There were just the three WAFL matches on Saturday in Round 12 and the action began at Leederville Oval with Claremont scoring an important win, handing East Perth a fifth straight defeat winning 14.11 (95) to 9.9 (63).

West Perth then further consolidated third position and stayed in touch with second spot by claiming a 15th consecutive win against Perth, prevailing 15.6 (96) to 11.9 (75) at Joondalup Arena.

WA State 16s kick off National Championship campaign

Western Australia's State 16s take on South Australia at Adelaide's Alberton Oval this Sunday, June 24, in their first game of the NAB AFL National 16s Championships.

Round 12 Match Previews

THERE are just the three matches in Round 12 of the 2018 WAFL season but each of them has plenty on the line with Swan Districts trying to upset Subiaco, Perth attempting to end a long losing run to West Perth and East Perth and Claremont out to return to the winner's list.

With the second placed South Fremantle, seventh placed Peel Thunder and bottom placed East Fremantle having the bye in Round 12, it shapes as a fascinating day of action on Saturday with three matches taking place.

The earlier starting game on Saturday afternoon takes place at Leederville Oval and will be televised live on Channel 7 from 1.30pm with East Perth playing Claremont.
