Members’ Area Update

During the installation of our new climate control system, contractors found traces of asbestos debris in the ceiling cavity.

Whilst the air quality and initial testing deemed the area safe, the decision has been made to seal the area off until the debris has been removed.

This week, the City of Vincent has received a scope of works for the safe removal of the debris, and a contractor has been employed to undertake the works, however the process of this will take several weeks.

As a result, the Members Area will be closed our WAFL fixture on Saturday the 24th of May. The club will keep members updated for further information as we receive it.

Whilst this will be an inconvenience for the next couple of weeks, once completed the club will not only have a new climate control system, but the Members Area will have undergone a further upgrade with the installation of a new ceiling and a lighting upgrade.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding with this matter and look forward to being able to provide a better and more comfortable area for our members shortly
