Players to Watch
Kye Willcocks: Another week and another 100-game milestone, this week it is fan favourite Kye Willcocks aka ‘Silk’. Kye has been a regular out of the East Perth backline for many seasons now. With his hard running, high-flying and precision kicking skills, Kye is sure to make game 100 a special one.
Mitch Schofield: The big forward was at his absolute best last week with an impressive stat line of 19 disposals, 12 marks and five goals. With a couple of key players out in the forward line, Mitch will have to put on another big performance again to help lead the team to victory.
Stan Wright: An important inclusion into the team this week is Stan Wright. Stan led the disposals for East Perth in the last game against South Fremantle with 28, and he will need to be again with his elite ball use out of the backline, a great weapon for the team.
The Opposition
South Fremantle have been the clear best side in the competition this season. A record 14 wins and one loss shows their dominance as they have consistently proved to be the premiership favourite in season 2025. With star players across all lines, this is a tough game for anyone who comes up against this team. East Perth, however, challenged them for a full four quarters when they met earlier in the season, and if they had an extra 5/10 minutes of game time, they may have even come back and won. The Royals have still won three of the past four against this team, and on their current form, they can beat this team again this week. This could be one of the games of the season.
