Players to Watch

Christian Ameduri: Our co-captain is back after captaining the state side to victory last weekend. Christian leads the WAFL for tackles this season (55 tackles, 9.1 per game) and his hard work and toughness will help lead the team again this week.

Liam Tedesco: Liam is also back after playing in the state team. He has been a great addition to the team’s midfield mix this season and his high work rate game fits in well with his teammates.

Stan Wright: The classy half-back is in top form. His ability to intercept, rebound, and deliver with precision makes him a vital link from defence to attack.

Will Cassidy: Will has been one of the most dynamic forwards in the league this season. His win ground balls and kick goals from anywhere will make him an asset up forward again this week.

The Opposition

East Fremantle come into this clash off the back of some big wins, leading the competition in total points scored (571). Their forward line is firing, and their midfield has plenty of depth. Despite sitting on the same 5–1 record, the Sharks trail East Perth in percentage (137.59% vs 141.11%) and will be hungry to reclaim top spot. Last year’s game was a wet and wild affair, which made it hard to get a read on what their best footy looks like. This season they have great contributions right across the board in the first 6 games. This should be a highly competitive and closely contested contest between the two teams this weekend.
