Players to Watch

Angus Scott: Angus has been playing some solid footy lately, averaging 30 disposals over his last four games. His hard running and ball use across the wing and half-back will be crucial for East Perth again this week.
Harry Macreadie: Harry put together one of his best performances of the season last week, controlling the defence with ease. His ability to take intercept marks and read the play will be vital in locking down Peel’s key forwards.
Zac Raykos: Zac made the move inside the forward 50 last week and ended up booting three goals. Don’t be surprised to see him on the scoresheet again this week as he continues to make an impact up forward.

The Opposition

As the reigning premiers, Peel Thunder haven’t quite hit the same heights as last season, but they’re still very much in the hunt. Sitting in 6th place with 7 games left, they’re far from out of the finals race. In their last matchup with East Perth, the Royals looked to have control from start to finish, which will give them plenty of confidence heading into this one. That said, playing down in Mandurah always gives Peel Thunder a bit of an edge, so this should be an intriguing matchup.
