PLAYERS TO WATCH and THE OPPOSITION

The Royals welcome two WAFLW debutants this week. Elsie James hails from our junior club Coolbinia and has played 18 games for our Rogers Cup side, earning a senior team debut on the back of strong form this season. Abby Critchell joins the Royals from PFL side North Beach, where she has played 37 games. Keep an eye out as our new players take to the field!

Swan Districts currently sit 4th on the WAFLW ladder, with a 7-4 record this season. 18 year old Carys D’Addario was best on ground the last time these two side met, and she’s continued her form as one of the standout players in the league a serious Dhara Kerr Medal contender. She was the 2024 B&F for Swans and this season averages just shy of 25 disposals per game. Fellow young gun Jamie Henry is also playing well, averaging 21.7 disposals this year. Forward Taylah Edwards currently leads the comp’s goalkicking leaderboard with 18 goals this season.
