PLAYERS TO WATCH and THE OPPOSITION

Hayley O’Donnell and Lillian Ninyett both featured in the RookieMe Central Team of the Week after solid performances against Claremont last round. Co-captain Taylah Suda returns to the side this week, as well as last year’s F&B Lucy Greenwood, and runner up Layla Firns.

West Perth are currently sitting fourth on the ladder, with a 4-3 record to start the season. Last year they finished third and made it to the Prelim Final before being knocked out by eventual Premiership winners, Claremont. They have a solid forward line with Chloe Metcalf, Sara Riou, and Jamarah Walley kicking 8, 7, and 6 goals respectively this season.Mia Russo is averaging 21 disposals for this season, and Emily Bennett and Lexi Strachan both had 20+ disposals in last week’s win over Perth.
