PLAYERS TO WATCH and THE OPPOSITION

Layla Firns and Jess Verbrugge had strong performances against South Freo last week, both collectiong 20+ disposals. Lillian Ninyett and Brooke Edwards are working well in the ruck and will look to dominate this week. Brianna Cleggett had arguably her best game for the Royals with fourteen disposals, eight tackles, and a goal. Plus, there will also be a debutant – keep your eyes on our socials for the announcement!

Peel Thunder are currently sitting seventh on the ladder, above East Perth only on percentage. They won in Round One against Perth but have not been successful since. Midfielder Chloe Wrigley is averaging an outstanding 29.5 disposals. Ebony Dowson has also started the year well, as has Peel star Evie Cowcher. It will be a tough assignment to lock down these players and Royals will have to be on their best game.
