PLAYERS TO WATCH and THE OPPOSITION

Maka Pugliese-Thompson and Sabella Banks had a solid day out in Peel, both laying seven tackles each, and Banks tacking three marks in defence. Makaela Spires and Kendra Thompson are making their League debuts – Kendra has been part of the Rogers set up for two years and last year finished second in the Rogers Fairest and Best. With co-captain Jess Verbrugge off to Essendon, it will be up to our midifeld outfit, including Layla Firns, Summer Mollross, and Elly Sara, to step up in her absence.

Last year, East Fremantle made it to the Grand Final, eventually going down to Claremont. In season 2025, they sit sixth on the ladder with a 4-6 record just over halfway through the season. Last week, they went down to ladder leaders Subiaco, and will be looking to bounce back against our Mighty Royals at home.
Sharks forward Anjelique Raison is in strong form, scoring in her last three games, as has Eve Wilson-Sieber. Amber Kinnane had a strong aftfernoon against Subiaco, collecting 19 disposals in their 12 point loss.
