Round 19 Football Department Update
A disappointing result for both the League and Reserves against West Perth in Round 18 at New Choice Homes Park.
The Reserves were jumped early by a talented West Perth squad going into the half time break 8 goals behind, but fought back strongly in the second half kicking 7 goals to 2. Unfortunately is was not enough and our boys went down by 20 points. Harley Sparks was prominent through the midfield all day along with his brother Cooper, while Tom Albertsen put together his strongest performance of the season. Other strong contributors were Taylor North in defence and Patrick Reilly who did a good job playing on Mark Hutchings.
The League boys started well with a number of quality opportunities in front of goals in the first quarter, but it was all West Perth in the second half and we ultimately went down by 70pts. Scott Jones battled well in the Ruck all day while Stanley Wright worked hard all day in providing rebound. Young gun Reuben Ginbey was also one of our better contributors playing roles through the mid-field and down back.
We now set our sights to South Fremantle in Round 19 and putting on a strong performance down at Fremantle Oval.
In Round 19, the Colts will play South Fremantle at Fremantle Community Bank Oval. This will be an away game for EPFC, with bounce down at 9:10am on Sunday. The Colts Boys will be looking to turn their form around this weekend and look to play an exciting brand of East Perth Football. Daniel Curtis and all the Coaches are working very hard with all the players to continue to develop their skills and education on the game.
LEAGUE SQUAD
Two Changes to the League side this week with Nicholas Robertson coming out due to a Hamstring Injury which he picked up in the 3rd quarter last week. Reuben Ginbey will also come out of the side after developing the flub mid-week. They will be replaced by Harley Sparks who has been strong in the midfield at Reserves Level of late and Key Defender Taylor North who will come into the League Squad for the first time since Round 9.

OUTS: N.ROBERTSON, R.GINBEY
RESERVES SQUAD

We have made 2 changes to the side that last played v West Perth in round 18. Will CASSIDY also comes back into the side after finishing up his PSA commitments and recovering from a toe injury. Will had a very strong PSA season and was voted the teams B&F player.
