Exciting New Link With Our Zone
The club is pleased to announce that Ang Barbaro will be taking up a newly created role within the club of East Perth FC Metro Zone Coordinator.
With the changing structure in the junior football landscape to the Regional Development Council, it is inevitable that the pathways and relationships that have been developed with our junior clubs over many years of the Royals District model will be severely impacted. The Board of Directors at East Perth have recognised that it is vitally important that we work not only to maintain, but to build on the relationships already established.
The Board have therefore resolved to create the East Perth Football Club Metro Zone position. The position will be the conduit between the East Perth FC and zoned junior clubs where there can have direct two way communications. 'I will look to build on already established programs such as the Junior Club Day at the WAFL, Royals Gala Day (Parade Day), Auskick Gala Day amongst others, along with identifying new initiatives where the EPFC can support our juniors and keep the East Perth brand ‘alive and well’ in club land' long time ' Loyal Royal' Ang said
'As we know, under the current partnership arrangement, and beyond, our juniors are the future of the East Perth Football Club. I am therefore very excited to again be involved in what I see as a crucial role for both the East Perth FC and our junior clubs moving forward. I also look forward to again working closely with you both as we roll out this new position.'
The club wishes Ang all the best in this voluntary role and look forward to continue building our zone to give every player in our zone the best opportunity to reach their potential.
