The Derby Preview
The Royals take on the old enemy West Perth in a must win clash for both teams. East Perth is coming off a hard fought victory against Peel Thunder in Mandurah last week. The Falcons will be dangerous as they look to bounce back after two sizable losses.
The Royals will be bolstered by the inclusion of Sharrod Wellingham who is returning from injury. The victory against Peel was encouraging with a number of important players including Craig Wulff and Steven Payne. Corey Adamson will be looking to back up his 24 disposals and 3 goals last week. The form of young guns Callum Hart, David Roche and Julian Ameduri has been exciting for the Royals as the team looks to string together some victories before our first bye in Round 8.
The Reserves will be hoping to consolidate their spot on top of the Reserves ladder. A good pre-season has held the boys in good stead. Tom Omodei has been a key cog in the Reserves team churning out impressive disposal totals. Agid Gardoud has been dangerous up front. Lewis Wilson returned to the team last week to provide an ominous presence and was damaging on the scoreboard with 3 goals.
Our young Colts suffered a disappointing loss last weekend against Peel but can put a game between them and West Perth with victory on the weekend. The Colts game this weekend will be at 5.00pm, after the League game.
