LSWFL Win 2017 GSCC
The East Perth zoned Lower South West Football League (LSWFL) have won the 2017 Great Southern Colts Carnival (GSCC). This Carnival held in Kulin brings together the most talented Colts aged players from southern Western Australia with teams representing the Great Southern, Eastern Districts, Ongerup, Esperance, Goldfields, Peel and Lower South West Football Leagues.
Over two days of competition each team played three games. The LSWFL and Great Southern Football League played off in the Grand Final after being the two highest placed teams after two games, with the LSWFL coming out victorious 12.10 (82) to 8.10 (52).
To cap off the Carnival 6 of the players were named in the GSCC Great Southern Colts 20. Congratulations to Blake East, Patrick Reilly, Luke Reilly, Ethan Christofis, Jaxon East and Mitchell Blakers. Blake East was also adjudged best afield in the Grand Final
