East Perth Crown Lager Banquet Auction
East Perth’s biggest fundraiser, the Crown Lager Banquet Auction was held at the magnificent Fraser’s Restaurant on Thursday the 25th of July.
Over 240 guests were treated to a perfect winter’s night overlooking Perth and the Swan River whilst enjoying a 3-course dinner curated by Head Chef Chris Taylor accompanied by West Cape Howe wines and Crown Lager.
Tiny Holly again showed why he is the best auctioneer in the business, entertaining the crowd and doing a magnificent job with the Auction. Simon Beaumont was equally impressive in his role as MC for the night.
President Bronte Howson opened the night, welcoming all guests and detailing how important the night was not only for the club this year, but for where we are headed looking forward.
Tiny and Simon then kicked into gear and auctioned off over 40 main auction items for the night. This was complemented by a huge Online Auction of over 400 items open to guests of the function and the public.
Through the generosity of our Sponsor, Members, supporters, donors and bidders the club was able to raise over $110,000 profit from the event, on what was a tremendous night for the club.
Special thanks go to Chris Taylor and his team at Fraser’s for hosting our night. CUB and West Cape Howe for providing the refreshments for the evening. Tiny Holly and Simon Beaumont for their services again making the night one to remember. Ty Hopes and Galabid for making the Online Auction possible. Brook Sallur and his crew from Brook Choice Relocations for transferring all our items to and from the venue. To the Board, staff and volunteers from East Perth FC for their huge effort in pulling the night together. Lastly, to all our donors and bidders who supported the night and made the fantastic result possible.
