Club debutant among three inclusions for clash with Tigers
Jonathan Freeman will make his club debut for East Perth against Claremont tomorrow.
The key forward is one of three inclusions to the Royals' line-up to face the Tigers at Leederville Oval.
Christian Ameduri has been selected to play his first league game of 2020, while key defender Corey Watts will return from injury.
Recruited from the Aspley Hornets in the NEAFL, Freeman spent four years on the Brisbane Lions’ list between 2014-2017. He was Aspley's leading goal-kicker in 2019, kicking 81 goals over two seasons with the Hornets.
After injury delayed his start at the Royals, Freeman will take his place in the league line-up tomorrow.
Ameduri has played eight league games since he made his debut in 2019. Watts will return for his third league match, after recovering from a badly dislocated finger injury that kept him out of the Royals' Round 4 loss to West Perth.
Mitch Dobson and Jonty Turner have been omitted, while Jaxon Cahill will miss with a cork injury. Cahill is expected to return for the Royals' clash against Subiaco next weekend.
League bouncedown is at 3.05pm, with the match broadcast live on the 7 Network in Perth. The Reserves will be hoping to continue their unbeaten run, while the Colts will face the second placed Claremont. Reserves bouncedown is at 12.30pm and Colts is at 10.00am. The Rogers Cup Women's team will play at 5.30pm.
