TEAM: McGinnity back for clash against Subiaco
It’s the battle of the co-tenants as East Perth take on Subiaco in a must win clash at Leederville Oval tomorrow.
Captain Patrick McGinnity is one of five inclusions to the Royals' line-up to face the Lions.
McGinnity is joined by Jamie Rudrum, Nathan Eaton, Shaquille McKenzie and Tom Amos.
31-year-old McGinnity sustained a groin injury in the Royals’ round two loss to Perth, while Rudrum returns to East Perth’s line-up after missing a fortnight with concussion symptoms from a knock sustained in East Perth’s round three win over East Fremantle.
Defender Nathan Eaton has been recalled to play his first league match since Round 12, 2019, and Tom Amos will play his second league match after making his senior debut in round two against Perth.
Shaquille McKenzie will play his first league match of the 2020 season, having spent the last fortnight in the Reserves, following his return from a calf injury sustained during the pre-season.
The Royals haven’t beaten Subiaco since Round 3, 2015, with the Lions taking a 12-match winning streak into the game. League bouncedown is at 2.30pm at Leederville Oval.
East Perth’s Reserves will be hoping to remain undefeated in 2020, when they take on the third placed Lions tomorrow. In the Colts, high flying small forward Kaden Harbour will make his debut for the club. Reserves bouncedown is at 12.00pm and Colts is at 9.30am. The Rogers Cup Women’s team are coming off a draw and will play on Sunday at 12.15pm.
East Perth’s office will be open between 1.00pm-2.30pm for all your merchandise and membership needs.
