TEAM: One change for Peel Thunder clash
East Perth have made one change ahead of their Round 9 clash with Peel Thunder at Leederville Oval.
Small pressure forward Jonty Turner has earned a league call-up. Turner returns to the Royals’ league side for the first time since Round 4. The 24-year-old has impressed in the Reserves, kicking five goals in his last two matches. Shayne Hille will make way for Turner.
Finals is not out of the equation for League coach Jeremy Barnard’s group, with the Royals still mathematically in contention for a top four berth.
The last time the Royals clashed with Peel Thunder at Leederville Oval was in Round 14, 2019, with the home side victors by 19-points.
Tom Amos, Shayne Hille, Jack Cooley and Daniel Rowe have been named as League emergencies.
In the Reserves, East Perth have a bye round after finishing the home and away season undefeated with a six-point win over South Fremantle last weekend. Aaron Ballantyne’s group will begin their finals campaign next weekend.
Daniel Curtis’ Colts side will be hoping for a strong finish to their season when they clash with ninth placed Peel Thunder at the later time of 12.00pm tomorrow. PSA products Kalani Brooks and Ethan Regan have been named in the Royals’ line-up.
League bouncedown is at 2.30pm.
