Royals look to battle their Demons with a win over Perth
East Perth will face the Demons in an Anzac Round match this afternoon, with both teams searching for a win following consecutive losses.
East Perth began the season with victories against Peel, Swan Districts and then a 75-point triumph over South Fremantle, but have since suffered losses to West Perth and then Subiaco.
Perth opened their season with wins over Claremont and South Fremantle, before losses to West Perth and Swan Districts in their last two matches.
Josh Smith has been named to return to the East Perth line-up. He was a late withdrawal against Subiaco last weekend.
The Royals will be without talls, Jeremy McGovern and Scott Lycett. McGovern has been in good form in defense in the absence of Kyle Anderson and will make his AFL debut for the Eagles against Carlton, replacing the suspended, Darren Glass.
Scott Lycett’s five goal haul on Good Friday in the loss to Subiaco has been rewarded with a recall from the Eagles.
Jacob Brennan, Sam Butler and Pat McGinnity have been named as emergencies for West Coast. While, Josh Hill was omitted from the Eagles side and will take his place in the forward line for the Royals.
Jacob Payne, Will Magginness and Julian Locantro have been named in the team.
Meanwhile, Matthew Hunt, Christian Eyres, Joel Leeson and Clem Smith have been listed as inclusions for the Demons.
Small forward Callum Collard (thigh) is out while Richardson, Houghton and Manuel have been omitted.
An Anzac Memorial Service will be held prior to bounce down at 2:05pm. With Reserves at 11.25am and Colts at 9:00am.
