East Perth out to battle Demons
EAST Perth will go into tomorrow’s game full of confidence against a team that hasn’t beaten the club in more than a season.
The Royals and Perth last met in Round 6 at Medibank Stadium, with East Perth claiming victory by 22 points. In 2013, the Royals claimed two wins from three games against the Demons and will be hoping to continue their winning form with four in a row against a Perth side that lost to Swan Districts last Saturday.
From last weekend’s winning side, midfielder Mark Hutchings will return to the West Coast Eagles line up, along with Sam Butler and Pat McGinnity who have been listed as emergencies for their clash with Hawthorn in Launceston.
Blayne Wilson has recovered from injury and will resume his role in defense for the Royals. While, Garry Moss, Mitch Howlett, Dean Cadwallader, Julian Locantro and Thomas Shanahan have all been named in the 25-man squad.
Meanwhile, Perth have swung plenty of changes and will regain the services of Nick Kane, Cale Morton, Reese Richardson, Gerald Ugle and Joel Houghton. Brad Keast and Matthew Welburn are pushing for selection.
Haydn Busher, Jarrad Irons, Rowan Brookes, Michael Sinclair, Jared Risol go out of the side that hasn’t won since Round 7.
Bouncedown is at 2:05pm at Lathlain Park.
