It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of long standing member and servant of East Perth Football Club, Gwenda Carless, who passed away yesterday, July 16 2014, aged 90.

Mrs Carless had been involved with the club since the 1950s undertaking numerous roles. She was on the Ladies Committee - looking after many of our players, allowing them to board with her family, she also laundered the players uniforms and was heavily involved in catering for all functions held at the Club.

On behalf of the board, directors, staff and players of East Perth Football Club we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Carless family on Gwenda's passing.
