2015 WA Football Volunteer of the Year
Nominations open for The Sunday Times WA Football Volunteer of the Year Award
Western Australia’s top footy volunteer for 2015 will be recognised when The Sunday Times WA Football Volunteer of the Year Award is announced.
Award nominations opened this week, with football clubs around the state urged to submit the names of their volunteers to recognise the hard work they do throughout the season. All nominee’s get the chance to win tickets to the WAFL’s Sandover Medal count and the AFL Grand Final.
A finalist will be selected in each of WA’s 17 Football Districts and Regions and the winners invited to the Sandover Medal count.
The overall State winner of The Sunday Times WA Football Volunteer of the Year Award will be announced on the night and receive a trip for two to the 2015 AFL Grand Final, including flights, accommodation and tickets to the Grand Final breakfast function.
