East Perth Sprint Car Day

On the 15th of May long time sponsor and supporter of East Perth, Geoff Kendrick with his team from the Kendrick Racing, put on the East Perth Sprint Car Drive Day. Perfect weather greeted our 16 drivers at Northam Speedway.

After an introductory lesson, filled with adrenaline and a few nerves the boys hit the racetrack all engines blaring with some impressive (and some not so impressive) driving. With only room for 1 person in 700 horsepower car there was no margin for error.

All the drivers had a fantastic day. Many thanks to Geoff and his team for organising and running the day. Also thanks to the team at Northam Speedway who did everything from setting up the track to cooking lunch. When the opportunity comes around next year spots will fill up fast! The day is a definite highlight of the East Perth social calendar.
