Wulff The Record Breaker
Craig Wulff will become the East Perth games record holder against Claremont when he pulls on the black and blue for the 270th time. Wulff will surpass Derek Chadwick’s 269 games, a record that was set 42 years ago.
Craig came to East Perth from Thornlie Junior Football Club playing in the 2000 East Perth Colts Premiership. Affectionately known as ‘Wulffy’ he made his debut in 2002, playing 2 games in that Premiership year.
Over the next 14 seasons Craig has captained the Mighty Royals since 2013, captained WA in 2013, won the leading goal kicking and won the 2010 FD Book Medal.
Astonishingly he has finished in the top 5 of the East Perth Fairest and Best top 5 in 7 of the past 9 years.
Craig epitomises the East Perth spirit and character. We wish him all the best for tomorrow and the upcoming season. We encourage all East Perth members and supporters to get to the game tomorrow and show our appreciation to one of the greats of our Club.
