Local club benefits from Community Grant Funding

The Mount Hawthorn Junior Football Club is the worthy recipient of three community grants after submitting funding applications to the City of Vincent, Toyota Australia and Bendigo North Perth Community Bank.

The City of Vincent ‘Female Participation in Sport Grant’ will enable the Cardies to establish activities, programs, and projects that promote and encourage equal participation of women and girls in sport.

Meet our Football Manager, Warren Parker

Pre-season match details confirmed

Details of East Perth’s pre-season matches have been confirmed.

The Royals will play Carey Park, Swan Districts and Claremont prior to the 2020 WAFL season.

Jeremy Barnard’s brother, Richard, is the league coach for the Panthers in the South West Football League; the brothers will go head-to-head as coaches at Gosnells Recreation Ground at 12.30pm on Saturday 14 March.

Ellenbrook clubs forge partnership

The Ellenbrook Dockers Junior Football Club and Ellenbrook Eels Senior Football Club have come together to sign an important MOU that will create a clear pathway from Juniors through to Seniors and facilitate closer relationships between both organisations.

Next generation shine at Carnivals

The Nicky Winmar and Kirby Bentley Carnivals, held at UWA Sports Park on Saturday, February 29 and Sunday, March 1, saw a positive performance by the East Perth District squads. 

Despite fielding young and undersized squads, the boys and girls in black and blue donned the jumper proudly under the guidance of District Development Officer, Hayden Cobley.
