East Perth’s biggest fundraiser, the Crown Lager Banquet Auction was held at the magnificent Fraser’s Restaurant on Thursday the 25th of July.

Over 240 guests were treated to a perfect winter’s night overlooking Perth and the Swan River whilst enjoying a 3-course dinner curated by Head Chef Chris Taylor accompanied by West Cape Howe wines and Crown Lager.

Round 14 Colts Wrap

ROUND 14 in the Simply Energy WAFL Colts saw Peel Thunder maintain its gap on top of the ladder with a one-point win over East Perth while Claremont continued its strong recent form and there were wins also for East Fremantle and Perth.

Round 14 in the colts competition got underway with a double-header on Friday afternoon and evening at Leederville Oval.

That got underway with Claremont continuing its strong form of late in the colts beating the reigning premiers Subiaco 13.8 (86) to 6.5 (41).

TABtouch Team of NAIDOC Round

NAIDOC Round in the WAFL on Saturday not only saw the competition pay tribute to the contribution of the Aboriginal culture, but also saw five fascinating match ups with Subiaco and Claremont surging ahead while West Perth, West Coast Eagles and East Perth won important games.

All five matches took on greater significance as the race for the finals heats up in the WAFL in Round 13 action and there were a host of standout individual performances to go along with the big results from a team perspective.

The early starting match on Saturday took place at Mandurah's David Grays Arena with West Coast Eagles winning a third straight match, beating Peel Thunder 10.16 (76) to 3.10 (28).

Round 13 Colts Wrap

THE 2019 WAFL Colts competition is taking shape in fascinating fashion with Peel Thunder remaining clear in top spot but then West Perth, Swan Districts, East Perth and Claremont jostling for spots, and reigning premiers Subiaco breathing down the necks.

The first colts contest of the round took place at Claremont Oval and it was Claremont who kept themselves comfortably in fifth position by defeating the bottom place South Fremantle 13.10 (88) to 5.4 (34).

Reigning premiers Subiaco kept its finals hopes alive as well with a strong 11.14 (80) to 5.10 (40) against East Fremantle at Leederville Oval.

Round 12 Colts Wrap

PEEL Thunder has shot clear on top of the WAFL Colts for 2019 following a win over Swan Districts on Saturday while there were also Round 12 victories for East Perth, Claremont and West Perth.

Peel and Swan Districts have been the two standout teams so far in the colts season for 2019, but now it is the Thunder who have pulled away two be two games and significant percentage clear on top of the ladder after 12 rounds.

The Thunder and Swans met for the first time of the season this Saturday at Mandurah's David Grays Arena and it was Peel who proved too strong, beating Swan Districts 10.17 (77) to 5.9 (39).
