A group of ex-players, predominantly from the 80's era, have been playing a golf game since 1995. Such luminaries as Michael Christian, Glen Bartlett and Paul Peos have played over the years.

The day is called the EPOB (East Perth Old Boys) Australia Day Classic and has been played across many local Perth courses as well as South West locations such as Bunbury, Dunsborough & Mandurah.

EAST Perth’s players have returned to pre-season training in good shape and are tracking well after the Christmas and New Year break, according to Football Operations Manager, Mark Winnett.

The squad resumed pre-season training a fortnight ago and on Tuesday the senior squad competed in a two-kilometre time trial. Marty Zambotto finished with the best time followed closely by Steven Payne.

The left-footer has had an uninterrupted start to 2015 after an unfortunate couple of years with injury.
