THE WAFL is back to a full round of fixtures this Saturday and there's plenty on the line with West Perth trying to topple Subiaco in the annual International Football Festival at Joondalup Arena undoubtedly the headline act.
There were just the three games in Round 12 of the WAFL last Saturday and that saw the season significantly tighten up in terms of the battle for the last two spots in the final five, with Claremont winning to close in further and Swan Districts and East Perth losing to be in danger of dropping out.
While Subiaco and West Perth won their games last Saturday to further consolidate their top three positions either side of the second placed South Fremantle, it's a tight competition beneath the Lions, Bulldogs and Falcons who appear to have their spots sewn up at this stage.
