Our match against East Fremantle saw the annual gathering for our Life Members. 24 of our Life Members were hosted in the Presidents Function.

The likes of Jack Sheedy, Frank Allen, Ken McAullay, Derek Chadwick, Peter Spencer and Larry Kickett were amongst the crowd who enjoyed an afternoon of stories of their playing days and their fondness of East Perth.

Payne Running Into Form For 100th Game

Our ANZAC Clash with Perth will see a club favourite, Steven Payne play his 100th game for the Club. Currently on 99 games he has played 96 League games and three Foxtel Cup matches.

Wulff The Record Breaker

Craig Wulff will become the East Perth games record holder against Claremont when he pulls on the black and blue for the 270th time. Wulff will surpass Derek Chadwick’s 269 games, a record that was set 42 years ago.

Craig came to East Perth from Thornlie Junior Football Club playing in the 2000 East Perth Colts Premiership. Affectionately known as ‘Wulffy’ he made his debut in 2002, playing 2 games in that Premiership year.

2016 Nicky Winmar Cup

The Nicky Winmar Carnival saw a positive performance by the Royals at Bendigo Bank Stadium on Sunday, 6st March. Despite fielding a young and undersized squad, the boys in blue and black donned the jumper proudly under the guidance of Head Coach, Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls and Assistant Coach, Matt Gray.

The Nicky Winmar Carnival is designed to draw Indigenous boys, aged 13 to 15, to junior community football and subsequently WAFL Development Squads.
